Good place to stay in near of the town centre. = 5min walk through the castle park! Nice traditional restaurants and pubs recommended by Faralds owner. Would book this location again.

Even though the centre is only 1 km away it is very quiet. Breakfast is fab and Pat and the staff are excellent

I loved that the Fanad House allowed for easy walking to all parts of Kilkenny. The rooms were nice sized, comfortable and well kept. I loved the shower! It was the best one we had in Ireland. The breakfast was nice and well organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was quiet and had blankets on the bed, rather than a duvet. Also, great breakfast!

Pat is an absolute gentleman and his staff are lovely too. Fanad House is a wee gem and I have stayed and will continue to stay every time I visit Kilkenny. The property is well maintained, and the breakfast is 10/10. There’s a wide variety of food on offer. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Only negative is it might be booked out when I plan my next visit.. 😂 There is absolutely nothing negative to stay about the property or location.

The property is first class, Pat and the team are excellent. The breakfast is a feast, I have never stayed in a B&B with underground heating, A1 standard and very reasonable.

Pat is a wonderful host. He is so helpful & friendly. Rooms are lovely and there’s a wide range of products for breakfast. This is my second time here and it won’t be my last. Highly recommend Fanad House.

We had a great stay at Fanad House, requested early check-in and the 3 rooms were ready at 12. Unbelievable service, lovely people.

The only thing was the heat in the room. Other than that it was perfect.
